Gaglioppo

This is a red grape variety, with its grapes we produce the best known D.O.C. : the red Cirò and the red Melissa. The grapes are characterised by an early ripening due to the particular structure of the Calabrian soil, which is arid and harsh given its location between the sea and the mountains. This causes the bunches to ripen slowly, reaching the full development of aromas and taste and an intense ruby red color with intense vinous aromas that over time evolve into a rich bouquet. The resulting wine has a strong alcohol content.

Greco Bianco

Very delicate yellow grape which gives rise to a white nectar. The plant found in Calabria the best climatic conditions for its development, giving life to a more or less intense straw yellow nectar with a tendency to golden and amber reflections, with a characteristic scent of dried fruit and a soft and harmonious flavour.

Nerello Calabrese

Black grape variety. It is grown in Calabria. Its grape has an oblong shape and is light red in color. It matures very late. Wines produced with this grape have a high alcohol content. Nerello Calabrese has a remarkable sensitivity to the vintage and the territory of origin.

Merlot

Merlot red grape variety, originally from Gironde (France), has found ideal environmental conditions also in Calabria, with surprising results. This vine has adapted to a climate with a strong solar imprint, giving life to wines with a good alcohol content, intense ruby red color and warm and spicy flavours.

Cabernet

It is a black grape variety originating from the Gironde, which has found ideal environmental conditions also in Calabria, allowing it to maintain its characteristics. With this grape we produce intense colour in our wines, rich in tannins and aromas. Thanks to the great structure of this vine, it is possible to experiment with long macerations and aging in wood, which allow it to express a complex and fascinating bouquet over time.
